Traning at the American Shotokan Karate spring clinic in Mapleton, IL.

This weekend I traveled back to Illinois to train with my “homies” at the American Shotokan Karate spring clinic in Mapleton, IL, hosted by the Central Illinois Shotokan Karate clubs of the Pekin/Peoria area. There were four training sessions, each taught by a different senior instructor, followed by a dan grading. It was good to see everyone again, and good to get in some hard training.
