The day’s activities will include four training sessions, and will conclude with American Shotokan Karate black belt testing. All traditional karate practitioners are welcome, regardless of style, affiliation, or skill level.

Wear a white karate uniform or loose-fitting athletic clothing to participate.

Those intending to participate in the black belt test should contact their American Shotokan Karate instructor for details. All forms, fees, and other required materials must be received no later than two weeks prior to the event. Examinees should bring protective headgear, hand pads, and a mouth guard.
Allegiant Air flies into Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA) from Peoria, IL (PIA) and Bloomington, IL (BMI). Other airlines fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). All major car rental agencies are available at both airports.
